Getting gold in gaiaonline?

First, I'm not asking for anything in terms of illegal ways to obtain the gold. This includes botting, and such automatic refreshers. That being said, I'm having trouble getting gold on gaiaonline. I'm trying to get all items for my dream avi, which I will need about 100k more to get. But I'm rich enough trouble just getting 15k, let alone 100k. So what are good ways to get gold there? I know many people say that "only after much", but rather that post, get less gold, so I do not see how that helps ... Thanks in advance for any help.
